Dear Mon Valley Partner,
The Rostraver Township Police Department will be having the Mon Valley National Night Out this year on August 4th, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at John DiVirgilio Sports Complex. In an effort to bring people closer together, the Mon Valley Night Out will unite the local communities in Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. Police from Carroll Township, Monongahela, Donora, Charleroi, Monessen, West Newton, North Belle Vernon, California, Perryopolis, Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania State Police and other departments will be invited to attend, as well as Emergency Medical Services Personnel and Volunteer Fire Departments in the participating communities.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing communities together under positive circumstances. Our main goal is to interact with the children of our communities and build trusting relationships. This free, family-friendly event will allow the community to become more familiar with the local police departments, first responders, and local drug prevention and anti-crime efforts.
To help make this event a success, we are seeking sponsorships, so that we can provide the children with numerous opportunities to win prizes. The more interaction a child has with the First Responders participating in this event will give children more tickets to drop into our prize baskets. In addition to sponsorships, we will be accepting gift baskets for a Chinese Auction. The proceeds from the basket raffles will benefit the Santa Cop Program and assist over 300 families. All Sponsorships/Donations are 503(C) eligibles (See the attached Sponsorship Flyer). Please make checks payable to the Rostraver Township Police Special Donations Fund and mail to: Rostraver Township Police, located at 205 Municipal Drive, Rostraver Township, PA 15012.
Free food and beverages will be provided for all attendees. We will also have specialty foods and drinks available to purchase as well. In an effort to thank our first responders, we will have multiple appreciation drawings for all the first responders in attendance. All sponsorship levels will be acknowledged at the event and on social media.
